How should I proceed if I want to start to cooperate with your agency?
You can contact us by telephone or e-mail using the contact information in Contacts section. Your request will be assigned to responsible consultant/team, which deals with the given sector, who will then contact you and agree with you on a further procedure. As a standard, we want from our client the details about the searched position and send (electronically) for signature the conditions/cooperation contract. We also welcome a personal meeting with our client.
How does the mutual cooperation process look like?
After you sign the cooperation contract and define the occupied position, we immediately start to look for suitable candidates. We advertise the position (using various employment portals), we address candidates from our database and the network of contacts. From the received CVs we select suitable candidates, with whom we subsequently meet at the interview. After every interview, we will create a report for the candidate, which we then send to the client together with the CV. It is then up to the client, whether it invites the candidate for a personal meeting in its company or not. If it does not, we however demand at least a short justification from the client, so that we can provide a feedback to our candidates.
How long does a standard search for a determined position take?
A standard search for one position taks about 4-6 weeks. This time interval includes creation of an advertisement, communication with the candidates, interviews with the candidates in our agency and a subsequent generation of reports, 1-3 rounds of interviews.
How do you solve a situation, if no suitable candidate can be found over a longer period of time?
If no suitable candidate can be found for a long period of time, we agree with the client on our next steps. Very difficult positions can be staffed using our Executive Search. Also, it is possible to adjust with the client the required description of the position based on the current situation of candidates on the market and continue in searching the modified profile.
Who bears the advertisement costs?
The advertisements at www.syn.sk and selected web portals is secured by our own agency at its own cost. If the client wishes to place ads in selected periodicals or specialized servers, we are able to arrange for a graphic design of the ad and its publishing. Such an advertisement or the whole campaign is then implemented subject to a mutual agreement and at the expense of the client.
Do I pay for your services in advance or only after finding the candidate?
A client pays for our services only at the moment of employment of the selected candidate. Our contract contains a guarantee period to provide for the case the cooperation could be terminated for any reason, whether on part of the candidate or the client.
What should the description of the job position with which the consultant can start to work in the given position contain?
To make the description of a job position useful to us to its utmost extent possible, it should contain the following information:
- job responsibilities - arranged by importance
- requested profile:
- experience
- competence/knowledge
- personal characteristics
- salary range, additional benefits or bonuses
- place of employment or travel requirements
- structure of department, direct superior, number of subordinates
- information about the competition process
- reason for the position opening
It is necessary to state salary terms/bonuses/benefits?
We definitely need to know the salary range for the seeked position so that we can select a more suitable candidate. We have to be able to judge whether the given candidate is suitable for the position in connection with its current salary and expectations. We do not disclose any information about the salary range to the candidates, it is only used as a guideline.
The list of other bonuses or benefits is an aid for the motivation of candidates, very often, they ask about the benefit system of a client themselves.
How does the first interview with the consultant occur?
SYNERGIE consultants use:
- structured form of interview (we ask about the job experience with specific employers, team structure, direct superior and the reason for leaving the employer)
- behavioral method (we ask about solutions and behavior in specific working situations with the aim to verify the candidate´s competences for the given position)
- queries about motivation and values of the candidate (generally and when selecting a new employer)
A summary report is prepared after the interview.
Can I, as a client, be present at the first interview with the candidate held in the agency´s premises?
Yes, it is possible. Basically, every competition for a position is tailored to the client´s needs and the given position.
Do I pay the full price for the candidate if the employment contract is terminated during probation?
If the employment relationship ends during the probation, SYNERGIE will provide you free of charge with another candidate (within approximately one month). If SYNERGIE does not provide an adequate substitute, it will refund your fees as per the contract.
- 90 % of the paid Fee if the Contract was terminated during the first month from the date of commencement of the Contract fulfillment,
- 70 % of the paid Fee if the Contract was terminated during the second month from the date of commencement of the Contract fulfillment,
- 50 % of the paid Fee if the Contract was terminated during the third month from the date of commencement of the Contract fulfillment.
How are Executive Seach services paid?
The Executive Search service is always custom-tailored, including the amount of fees. It differs from a standard recruitment by that the client pays a part of the fee in advance.
Can I conclude a long-term cooperation agreement with the agency (all-year help with staffing)?
The length of cooperation is set in a contract. As a standard, this is indefinite, but it may be conclude also only for a single position or for one year only.
