Staffing an online branch of a well-known global insurance company

The Task

To assess the labor market potential for this relatively new field of online marketing.  To identify the optimal salary range, and subsequently carry out the search for the position of branch manager

  • Experience with design and implementation of social media campaigns.
  • Creative thinking, experience writing advertising copy text.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with managing a team.
  • Strong self-motivation and work ethic.
The SYNERGIE Solution 

When selecting the suitable candidate for the position of branch director, we employed the active search method - advertising, social media and references. We have also worked on a more creative rendering of the advertisement to narrow down the search. 

  • Identification of suitable candidates on the local market.
  • Behavioral interview/ addressing model situations.

The Result

We managed to successfully fill the position of branch director and assisted in the process of building up the team of marketing and customer support specialists.


Manufacturing plant, automotive supplier 

The task

To find local managers for the entire team, as well as specialists for a newly built plant in Trnava, Slovakia 

The Selection Criteria

  • Experience in manufacturing.
  • Language proficiency (English or French).
  • Knowledge of production systems.
  • Management experience -  people  management.

SYNERGIE Solution

For this project, we used the method of active search, including direct contact focusing on the following: 

  • Identification of candidates on the local market.
  • Personal interviews using behavioral techniques.
  • Discrete search (executive search / headhunting).

The Result

We succeeded in finding a suitable candidate for the position of a Plant Manager. Along with this position, other members of the management team were recruited, as well as specialists quality engineerstandards (metrology) specialist, and other positions. 

We successfully implemented a similar project for a client in the steel industry in Senica, Slovakia. 


Foreign retail chain start up project

The task

Our team of consultants was tasked to source local management team for the entire region, including managers of company branches and their deputies for locations in Bratislava, Kosice and Poprad. 

The Selection Criteria

  • Experience in retail business.
  • Language proficiency (English or French).
  • Management experience (for management positions) namely - managing people.
  • A strong pro-client orientation, strong business acumen.

We employed the active research method, including direct contact with potential candidates with the focus on the following: 

  • Identification of available personnel on the local market.
  • Personal interview using behavioral techniques.
  • Selection of the best-fitting form of assessment center method in consultation with the client.
  • Executive Search for the position of regional manager, including conducting search on the Czech market.

The Result 

We managed to successfully source the key team members. Over time, some of our selections for the deputy positions were promoted to store managers.Moreover, these employees were actively involved in opening additional branches and in training new staff for the company.

Start-up of an assembly plant for a major car manufacturer 

The Task

SYNERGIE was tasked with the selection of the local management team, as well as a team of specialists for the newly built car manufacturing plant in Trnava, Slovakia.

  • Knowledge of production systems.
