Translation specialist (German speakers – different combinations)

Are you a multilingual person? Are you passionate for translation? Then we have an interesting challenge for you. Become a part of international translation team here in Bratislava. Our client is a well-known start-up corporation, who is looking for different language speakers:

1. German Native Speaker (or proven university study/working experience in Germany)
with French language on an advanced level
2. German Native Speaker (or proven university study/working experience in Germany) with Italian language on an advanced level
3. Polish Native Speaker, Swedish Native Speaker, English Native Speaker and Czech Native Speaker – all of them with German language on an advanced level

Your daily tasks will include:

• Providing manual translation of product & services documentation
• Post-editing machine-translated product detail pages
• Conducting quality checks by proofreading/reviewing linguistic work from your peers, freelancer translators and translation agencies
• Providing feedback and linguistic coaching
• Monitoring external vendor quality progress, investigate quality variations and develop and implement measures to drive quality improvement
• Taking part and support leaders in hiring, training, project management, technical support, etc.

Požiadavky

• University degree (ideally Linguistics/Translation)
• German native speaker + French/Italian advanced OR Czech/Polish/Swedish/English native speaker + German advanced
• Previous experience with translation is ideal (multilingual corporate job also possible)
• Organized and systematic approach
• Highly motivated to learn, develop and grow
• Innovative and creative spirit
